Get your Starr Lightning Address
A Lightning Address works like an email address for bitcoin. With Starr you get one at username@starr.tips, and receiving to it is free.
How to claim it

Open Starr
Open the Starr app and go to Receive → Lightning Address to claim yours.

Choose your username
Pick the username you want. Your address will be username@starr.tips.

Copy your address
Once claimed, copy your Lightning Address from the app or use the share option.

Share it
Share it anywhere you'd share a payment link. Payments arrive in your Starr wallet.

Is it free to receive to my Lightning Address?
Yes. Receiving over Lightning, including to your Lightning Address, is free.
Can I still use invoices?
Yes. You can also receive with a Lightning invoice, a Spark address or on-chain.
I'm switching from another wallet. Does my old address still work?
Your old address still points to your old wallet. Share your new @starr.tips address with anyone who pays you.
